Strength, valour and the name itself makes us wonder everything about the very famous Wonder Woman. She is a fictional superhero who appears in American comics published by DC. She is the founder of Justice League, Demi-goddess and Warrior Princess. She was created by American psychologist and writer William Moulton Marston and artist Harry G.Peter. It is said that his wife was the inspiration behind this character.

In the Golden Age of Comics, she was a part of Amazons on Paradise Island and also helped in fighting against the Nazi’s. She was also the “Secretary” of the Justice Society of America. In the 1960’s she was a founding member of the Justice League with Green Lantern, Batman and Aquaman. During the 1960’s along with a revamped appearance, she was associated with Greek Gods and myths and was regarded as “Beautiful as Aphrodite, wise as Athena, strong as Hercules” . She was further escalated to Wonder Girl and Wonder Tot. During 1970’s, she was seen going through an outfit change, where she adorned groovy outfits. During Sins of Youths, the members of Justice League in their younger ages were named Wonder Girl. After the Crisis on Infinite Earths series, George and Greg Potter, depicted Wonder Woman as an envoy from her native land Themyscira, to a male dominated world, charhed with the task of spreading peace. Writers again associated this bold lady with quite a number of deities and mythological stories from Greek history, this comic book turned out to be both a critical and a commercial success.
Princess Diana as Wonder Woman and Diana Prince commands respect for her character. She is a strong willed character and is also shown as a lover of peace. She is given year-long training and capabilities to fight a small time crime to natural disasters, she is capable of finishing any villain.
On 2nd June, 2017 first real time movie has been released on Wonder Woman. It is distributed by Patty Jenkins distributed by Warner Brothers Pictures. Gal Gadot is the main character and is supported by Chris Pine, Robin Wright and Danny Huston. This movie is related to her tribulations around World War I.
