The coldness of ice can bring the redness of your skin to a hold and can also reduce the swollen effect.
How to use: Wrap ice cube/crushed ice in a cloth, put it on the affected area, let it rest for a few seconds, then repeat the process after a minutes’ interval.
Lemon juice is enriched with Vitamin C and if it is freshly extracted then it can prove to a be a good source to dry up the pimples, faster.
How to use Soak a bit of a dry and clean cotton swab in juice and apply it on the affected area and leave it overnight. Adding a tablespoon of cinnamon powder to lemon juice will have better effects on the affected area. In both the cases, wash your face in the morning with tepid water. However, this remedy is not recommended for those who have highly sensitive skin which is much more prone to pimples.
TEA TREE OIL
The anti-bacterial property of the tea tree oil can help in reducing the pimple as well as the acne effect. Along with this, it is capable enough to reduce the redness and the swelling. Not only this it also helps in removing your black- and white-heads.
How to use Mix a few drops of tea tree oil with one tablespoon of aloe vera gel, apply the mixture on the troubling area and leave it for about 20 minutes and rinse it off with water. Again, this remedy is not advisable to be used by those who have sensitive skin.
Garlic is an antiseptic and an antioxidant, which helps in purifying your blood (if consumed one daily: only one) it can reduce the size and redness of your pimples rather quickly due to the presence of allicin (a chemical compound) in it.
How to use: Cut a garlic in half and then rub it on the affected area, let it rest for around 5 minutes before washing it with tepid water. Repeat the procedure several times a day for best results.
Expose your skin to steam and you would be surprised to see the result it leaves on your skin. Steaming helps in opening up the blocked pores and removes blackheads as well. You don’t only look but feel young as the excess oil and dirt is gone from your skin.
How to use: Fill a container with hot water and cover your head and the container with a towel so that the steam is in close contact with the skin. Let your skin undergo the steam therapy for at least 10-15 minutes, wash your face with tepid water, damp it with a soft cloth and apply some moisturizer. (preferable: Oil-Free).
